This series is a metaphor for placing flowers on a grave, in this case the grave of a young suicide victim who was also an excellent photographer. She took her life over 20 years ago, and as each year goes by I wonder who she would have grown into, what work she would be doing now, how great she would have become if she could have held on long enough to find the strength to continue living.
